What is the SCOM program?
The Initial Consultation
We start with an initial consultation at our training facility with our experienced behavior training team. This provides us the opportunity to learn more about you, your dog, and your goals for training. We will outline a behavior modification protocol in our specialized program providing you and your dog with the information and behaviors for long term success in the program.
Behavior Modification Working Sessions
Working Sessions with our training team, including our well-trained working dogs is the next step in our program. Initially an experienced trainer will handle and work with your dog, allowing you to observe and learn.
Every session includes an experienced trainer working and coaching with you and your dog, an experienced trainer or assistant trainer handling our working dog(s), and a trainer or assistant trainer taking detailed notes to provide you an in-depth recap email from every session.
When you and your dog are ready, your trainer will coach you on handling your dog around our working dog(s).
Real World Transition and Experiences
Once your dog is ready, our training team and working dog(s) will take “field trips” to parks, dog friendly business, and/or your neighborhood to put all the learned skills into use the real world.
We are there with you every step of the way to ensure the skills and behaviors learned at our facility transition to success where you and your dog need it the most, in real life situations. Our team is there to make certain you and your dog have all the tools, answers, and solutions needed for long term success after your behavior training program is completed.

Our dog reactivity and aggression program provide the unique opportunity to work with a well-trained dog to address the needs of dogs that have reactive responses to other includes including overstimulation, aggression, resource guarding, and fear responses.
Our working dog(s) are trained to assist in the learning process; communicating and helping your dog understand they are not a threat and provide a calm, neutral, and successful learning experience.
Your dog will learn new choices and how to behave while in a variety of situations
The program is individually tailored to meet your dog’s needs; working at your dog’s pace to overcome this emotional and challenging behavior problem.
Utilizing a coaching and choice-based methodology, reinforcing your dog for calm, positive emotional responses which occur in the successful environmental set up we provide, results in significant changes in behavior. We gradually increase the challenges to ensure we continue to set your dog up for long term success while preparing for the transition to the real world.
Teach you how to handle your dog when you see other dogs on leash
Reactivity or aggression issues may occur on or off leash. Many dogs are reactive specifically while on-leash or only on walks or away from home. Some dogs may do well on walks but react at parks or when other dogs get too close. Our program is designed to help all of these situations!
Translate the SCOM session skills and information to real world experiences
With reactivity/aggression training you will be provided with information, skills, and tools to ensure long term success for your dog.
Our team will work with you and your dog through the process of preparing you both for success in real life. While the timeframe for every dog is different, we have the experience, skills, and years of prior success to make certain you and your dog have a future you both find happy and rewarding.

Prices for Behavior Training
Initial Consultation for all private training: $100.00
PLEASE NOTE: A $50 deposit will be due upon the completion of your private training application. This deposit will go towards your initial consultation, with the remaining $50 due on the day of your initial consultation appointment.
We offer an initial consultation with our Training Team providing you and your dog the opportunity to meet our team, discuss your dog’s training needs and implement initial behaviors to address your training concerns. At that time, our Training Team will discuss the appropriate training program for your dog.

$200.00 per single session
We offer a discount for the purchase of multiple training sessions. Your Training Team will provide the options available to you at your consultation. Thank you!
